Warm cocktails delight during the cool winter season. This ginger hot toddy will warm you from your nose to your toes. Pair with a homemade gingersnap for an extra special treat.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ginger juice
  • 4-6 ounces black tea
  • 1 ounce bourbon whiskey
  • Slices of fresh ginger
  • Anise seed
  • Cinnamon stick

Method:

  1. In a heatproof glass mix the honey, ginger juice, bourbon together.
  2. Pour over hot black tea.
  3. Garnish with fresh ginger slices, cinnamon stick and anise seed.
