Day 11: Baylee’s 12 Days of Christmas Cheer Cocktails and Canapés.

A sparkling, fresh punch will become the essential watering hole at your next party.

This punch combines fresh fruity flavors, a little kick of ginger, and bubbles courtesy of dry Prosecco. I have kicked into full party mode and am serving this thirst quenching cocktail with not one, not two, but three hors d’oeuvres: Anchovy Deviled Eggs, Port Glazed Pigs in a Blanket, and Gougères.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 750 ml bottle of Prosecco, or other dry sparkling wine
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 2 cups ginger ale (or ginger beer for a stronger flavor)
  • 2 oranges sliced, for garnish
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, for garnish

Method:

  1. Make sure all your ingredients are well chilled before mixing.
  2. Fill your punch bowl or pitcher with ice.
  3. Add your cranberry juice, orange juice, Prosecco, vodka, and ginger ale.
  4. Add the orange slices and fresh cranberries, and stir gently.
